Canadian Book Prices Revising to Par With US $

As many of you are aware, the recent strength of the Cdn$ vs the US$ has been prominent in the news. Unfortunately, Canadian publishers and distributors that I buy from base their selling price to me on the Canadian price printed on the book. With the complexities of production costs, and the long timelines publishers have to deal with, it is often a slow process for Canadian prices to be revised when exchange rates change.

Making Lemonade out of Lemons - Celebrating the Strong Canadian $
In spite of book publishers and distributors in Canada being slow to change their pricing for me, I have decided to 'make lemonade out of lemons', and invite you to enjoy our strong Canadian $. I am lowering the Canadian prices on books to par with the US. While it lasts, (and predictions vary of course), there are some great bargains to be enjoyed!

Now you don't have to cross the border (with it's higher shipping costs) for great book prices, and you can continue to enjoy 'Shopping Canadian', Eh!

Yarn and Pattern Prices
Unlike book prices, most of the yarn and patterns we carry are actually Canadian or overseas products, so the Canadian prices for the most part are unaffected.
