Summertime Collection from Ilga Leja

Movement is everywhere, unending. The oblique lines of twisted stitches on this cotton top keep moving in a constant direction.

It is knit back and forth for both the front and back. The stitches for the collar are picked up around the neck and knit in the continuing flowing pattern. The lines do not stop until they reach the end of the high-necked collar. There, a few pearl buttons close the collar at the back of the neck.

When selecting a needle size note that while the pattern has a suggested size (see above for Recommended needle size), you may need to use a different needle size in order to get gauge. If your experience with other Ilga Leja patterns is that you have to go up or down a needle size to match gauge, then select the appropriate size.
