Long diagonal lace lines meet to form a diamond or half-diamond at the centre of these vibrant scarves of multicolours.

Knit from one end to the other in a Garter Stitch lace pattern, each scarf takes a single 100-gram skein of handpainted fingering-weight merino wool to create each stunning wrap of colour for your neck and shoulders.

Directions are given for both styles.

These fabulous new circular needles from Addi Turbo - the long respected name in well-crafted knitting needles - offer you enhanced features for both lace and sock knitting. They have sharp tips making it easier to work fine stitches; the needles are coated to give just the right amount of 'stick' so you have better control of lace stitches; and they have smooth joins between the needles and cord.
With every set of needles purchased, we include a dozen Bonus Stitch Markers.

When selecting a needle size note that while the pattern has a suggested size (see above for Recommended needle size), you may need to use a different needle size in order to get gauge. If your experience with other Ilga Leja patterns is that you have to go up or down a needle size to match gauge, then select the appropriate size.
