This is a great resource book for the crocheters tackling Japanese crochet patterns. There are just under 60 symbols listed, with clear illustrations and photos to explain how to work each symbol, see the example on the right.

There are also several crochet sample pages that indicate the symbols used to create the stitch, see example on the left. Best of all, there is a complete Index in the beginning of the book showing the almost 60 symbols and the reference page for instructions, see example below.
