Though written entirely in Japanese, there are clear charts to aid the knitter.

Each garment is fully charted with clear schematics.

This issue features many different sweater styles and shapes, from traditional to glamourous, simple stitches with variegated yarns to luxury yarns and complex stitch patterning.

The flattering flared sweater on the left is worked in a simple cable patterning, and the bodice worked in cables and twisted stitches - a very elegant look!

For those who love making bobbles, the pullover on the right is heavily bordered in bobbles, with panels of floral motifs of twisted stitches and bobbles in the main body. There are also narrow panels of simple lace between the panels in the body -adding a decorative diversion!

Variegated yarn leaves form the neckline in the pullover below, a challenging knit even if it was all written in English - definitely recommended for the adventurous knitter! There are a lot of very interesting symbols on the charts, even for the body of the sweater - challenges everywhere for this project.

Glamour and elegance personify the wrap around sweater below right - pearls dotting the deeply pointed collar and cuffs. The main body is worked in a simple lace.

NOTE: As with many Japanese garment designs, they are often only charted for one size, and the knitter has to re-calculate for their desired size.
