There is some lovely flared shaping in the red vest shown on the left, the cover sweater and the short-sleeved sweater shown below right - makes for easy fitting and a flattering look. In the multi-colour ribbed sweater below left, the directional use of the cables creates a diagonal line leading up towards the face - again a very flattering look. For the elegant cardigan on the right the geometric texture design works very well with a multi-colour yarn, and creates a rich textural design with precise order. The pink shawl shown below has a beautiful folded over edge to create a collar. NOTE: As with many Japanese garment designs, they are often only charted for one size, and the knitter has to re-calculate for their desired size. You can also view more at the publisher's web site
