Though written entirely in Japanese, there are clear charts to aid the Adventurous Knitter.

There are several accessory items in this volume - both crocheted or knit hats and scarves; sweaters and vests in casual and dressy styles. As with so many Japanese designs, the shaping and choice of stitch patterns combine to create intriguing garments to knit that both challenge and delight the knitter.

There are several beautiful crocheted garments, including the lovely sweater shown on the left.

The use of simple to work twisted stitches works beautifully in the sweater on the right, creating a complex pattern.

The innovative shaping of the scarf below right is a perfect combination with multicoloured yarns.Though the actual knitting stitch pattern is simple, the joined knit triangles finished with a crocheted lace edging create a truly unique scarf.

The elegant white lace scarf shown below left becomes an accent piece over a black top for extra warmth during the day, as well as for wearing under your coat with the top of the collar on the outside.

Each garment is fully charted with clear schematics.

NOTE: As with many Japanese garment designs, they are often only charted for one size, and the knitter has to re-calculate for their desired size.
