There are 27 projects to choose from; pullovers, vests, cardigans plus accessories, mostly knitted and a few in crochet. In many of the designs though the stitch patterns are easy repeats, it is the combination of complementary patterns in both texture and often lace that create exquisite designs. In the vest shown on the left, the borders are worked in a honeycomb pattern with the main body using a simple purl texture for visual and knitting interest. The wide borders create a unique look. The panels of lace and texture in the pink pullover on the right are complemented by a border of bobbles around the hem, cuffs and neckline. There is also patterning that runs about 8" up the outside of the cuff too. Each sweater is fully charted with clear schematics. NOTE: As with many Japanese garment designs, they are often only charted for one size, and the knitter has to re-calculate for their desired size. You can also view more at the publisher's web site
