Though written entirely in Japanese, there are clear charts to aid the Adventurous Knitter.

This issue has a wonderful mixture of colour, texture and lace, plus some crocheted items. The 49 projects are divided into main sections:

Sweet Knit - features lots of lace, decorative edgings, plus several have flared hemlines and cuffs. They are indeed very demure and sweet designs.

Glamorous Knit - from lacy sweaters worn over undervests, scoop necklines, to elegant textures and cables - several using yarns with a shimmer.

Knit Jacket - includes jackets with all-over texture patterns in geometrics to those using fancy yarns and multicolours.

Chic Knit - has several interesting feminine lacy stitch or cable patterns using variegated yarns.

Early Autumn Knit - with vests, sweaters and shrugs in a variety of texture patterning, including the wrap-around vest below and the elegant combo of knit and purl in the sweater above right.

Each garment is fully charted with clear schematics.

NOTE: As with many Japanese garment designs, they are often only charted for one size, and the knitter has to re-calculate for their desired size.
