Fiddlesticks Knitting Bling
Add those extra touches that make your lace knitting even more special!
Hand-crafted by Dorothy Siemens, the body and knobs of the shawl pins are created from polymer clay using a variety of techniques including image transfer, millefiori and texture patterns. The pins are made from real knitting needles, painted to match and then varnished. Shawl pins can be used to hold your shawl securely in place or as a closure for cardigans, vests and wraps. Because the pins are hand-crafted there may be slight variations in appearance from pin to pin.

"For these shawl pins I used an image transfer method to create the lacy design (the edging for my Arabesque stole provided the image for this pin).
Outside measurements of the oval are approx. 2.5 inches long and 2 inches wide.

"This shawl pin incorporates texture and a millefiori accent for the peacock feather's 'eye.' The eye is polished to a glossy shine for contrasting interest with the feather.
