'Lace knitting patterns by Herbert Niebling (1903-1966) are highly considered masterpieces of filigree needlework. This portfolio presents reprints of elegant floral patterns which had been published as single designs by Verlag fur die Frau publishing house in Leipzig from 1948 to 1962. The designs are mainly from Herbert Niebling’s pre-war period in Bensheim/Germany.
