"The design focus in this book is in large part directed towards sweaters; the patterns generally a bit more subdued than those used for shawls, with useful ribbed and textured stitches to combine with, and complement, each other. Many of them, however, could also be used for scarves and wraps; in fact there are several narrow edgings to choose from, and patterns with larger repeats are suitable for bigger pieces, such as lap blankets."
