For those with a passion for historical knitting, this new work on the knitted jackets from West-Estonian Islands is a good addition to their library. Written in both Estonian and English, with dozens of historical examples, and many historical photos. Many of the jackets are knit in dark yarns embellished with decorative woven and embroidered ribbons on the cuffs and front edges.

Note: This is more of a historical survey of traditional jackets, and there are no patterns or charts of any of the knitted works.
