This pretty silk cardigan is gently shaped at the waist for a flattering fit. The pretty lace detail adds to the flared effect at the bottom edge and sleeves.
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes, then fronts and back are worked separately. Sleeves are worked flat and sewn in later. A delicate button band and small buttons provide a pretty finish.

Gauge: in stocking stitch, after blocking:
4 inches = 19 stitches / 30 rows
Sizing and Yarn Requirements:
Knitted measurement at bust (allow 2 to 3 inches ease with actual bust measurement).

Size 1: 34.75 inches - 7 balls

3.5 mm (US 4) 24" and 32" circular needles, or size to obtain gauge.

Addi Turbo Lace Knitting Circular Needles
These excellent needles from Addi Turbo offer you enhanced features for lace, sock, and texture knitting. They have sharp tips making it easier to work fine stitches; the needles are coated to give just the right amount of 'stick' so you have better control of lace stitches; and they have smooth joins between the needles and cord.
When selecting a needle size note that while the pattern has a suggested size (see above for Recommended needle size), you may need to use a different needle size in order to get gauge. If your experience with other Fiddlesticks patterns is that you have to go up or down a needle size to match gauge, then select the appropriate size.
