The word "felicity" means pleasure, delight, or enjoyment. We hope you take pleasure in knitting the delightful Felicia Vest, sure to give you many years of wearing enjoyment! It features Shetland lace patterning.

The vest is worked flat in one piece to the armholes, where work is divided for fronts and back. Stitches are picked up for front bands and the shawl collar, which is shaped with short rows (explained in detail). Armhole edgings are worked and a front closure is sewn on. Our sample was knit in Peacock.

Design Details                   

Recommended Yarn: Fiddlesticks Knitting Silken Merino (50% tussah silk, 50% merino) each ball 50 g / 105 m.

Finished knitted measurements in inches at bust:
Size 1: 33.5 inches - 6 balls
Size 2: 37 inches - 7 balls
Size 3: 40.5 inches - 7 balls
Size 4: 44 inches - 8 balls
Size 5: 48 inches - 9 balls
Size 6: 51.5 inches - 9 balls
Size 7: 55 inches - 10 balls

Needles:
3.5 mm (US 4) 24-inch circular needles
3.5 mm (US 4) 32-inch circular needles
4 mm (US 6) 24-inch circular needles
4.5 mm (US 7) 24-inch circular needles
or sizes needed to obtain gaugeor size to obtain gauge

Gauge in Eyelet Lace Pattern using smallest needles:
18.5 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches
