Fiddlesticks Knitting Patterns and Yarns

A flourish of lace embellishes the lower edge, cuffs and neck of this sweater as it gracefully expands over the hip-line and down the bell-like sleeves.

Sweater body is knit in the round to the armholes. Sleeves are knit flat, then sewn. Collar is picked up and finished with I-cord. Shaping is accomplished with different needle sizes. Sample shown in Size 1.

Recommended yarn:
Light Worsted Weight yarn, 105 metres, 114 yds 50 gr.

Knitted measurements(knitted measurement at bust - allow an inch or two of ease):
Size 1: 33 inches - 9 balls
Size 2: 36 inches - 10 balls
Size 3: 38.5 inches - 11 balls
Size 4: 41.5 inches - 11 balls
Size 5: 44 inches - 13 balls
Size 6: 47 inches - 13 balls
Size 7: 49.5 inches - 14 balls

Needles:
Sizes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5: 24-inch circulars
Sizes 6 and 7: 32-inch circulars
4 mm (US 6)
4.5 mm (US 7)
5 mm (US 8)
or size to obtain gauge
