Fiddlesticks Knitting Patterns and Yarns
The Lacy Botanical Scarves embrace a foliage theme, with lace images of flowers and leaves. "Fanciful Flowers" (top) portrays a whimsical garden knot path dotted with daisies and flower buds. "Lighthearted Leaves" (below) shows a cheerful scatter of leaves, perhaps blowing in the wind? These fresh scarves are lovely in summer but will also enliven the gloomiest winter day.
Both scarves are worked in garter stitch by knitting a lace edging from which stitches are picked up to work the main rectangular body. Then they are finished by knitting another lace edging onto the live stitches of the body. These are garter stitch scarves.
