This graceful top features the pretty Lily of the Valley lace motif, used to create extra interest at the waist and sleeve edges. The gently curving neckline is reflected in the shape of the lace motif at the waist. I-cord finishes all the edges with understated elegance.

Front, back and sleeves are knit separately from bottom to top, then sewn together. I-cord is worked on all edges to finish the garment.

Design Details                   

Gauge: in lace pattern using larger needles after blocking,
4 inches = 20 sts and 29 rows

Recommended yarn DK-weight, each ball 50 g / 115 m. Sample knit with 100% raw silk yarn.

Sizing and Yarn Requirements:
Knitted measurement at bust - garment meant to fit fairly closely.
Size 1: 33 inches - 7 balls
Size 2: 36 inches - 8 balls
Size 3: 39 inches - 9 balls
Size 4: 42 inches - 9 balls
Size 5: 45 inches - 10 balls
Size 6: 48 inches - 11 balls

Recommended needle sizes: 3.5 mm (US 4) 24-inch circular needles or size to obtain gauge
