The beautiful Estonian "lingonberry" pattern graces this tunic with asymmetrical sweeps of lace detail. Lingonberry motifs adorn the small cap sleeves as well. Delicate eyelets around the hem, sleeves and neck echo the small berry theme, for a pretty summer top that will be a delight to knit as well as to wear!
The top is worked in the round from the bottom edge to the armholes, where it is divided for front and back. A-line shaping is accomplished with different needle sizes. Small cap sleeves are worked flat, and edges at the neck and sleeves are finished with eyelets. Sample shown in Size 1 and Lavender.

Gauge: in stocking stitch with 3.5 mm (US 4) needles:
4 inches = 20 stitches and 29 rows
Sizing and Yarn Requirements:
Knitted measurement at bust - garment meant to fit fairly closely.
Fiddlesticks Knitting Silk Sensation, 100% silk, each ball 50 gr/115 metres, 125 yds(approximately), an elegant 100% raw silk yarn.
Size 1: 32 inches - 6 balls
Size 2: 36 inches - 6 balls
Size 3: 40 inches - 7 balls
Size 4: 44 inches - 8 balls
Size 5: 48 inches - 9 balls
Recommended needle sizes:
4 mm (US 6) 24-inch
3.5 mm (US 4) 24-inch
3 mm (US 3) 16-inch
or sizes to obtain gauge
