This luscious vest will add a stylish and cosy layer when you need that extra bit of warmth. The vest is worked in one piece from bottom edge to armholes, where it is divided for fronts and back. Gentle A-line shaping from hips through waist is accomplished with different needle sizes. Japanese lace patterns inspired the lovely decorative border.

Recommended yarn:
Light Worsted Weight yarn, 105 metres, 114 yds 50 gr.

Knitted measurements and yarn requirements:
Size 1: 33 inches - 6 balls
Size 2: 37.5 inches - 7 balls
Size 3: 41.75 inches - 7 balls
Size 4: 46 inches - 8 balls
Size 5: 50.5 inches - 9 balls

Recommended needle sizes - circulars:
Sizes 1, 2 and 3:
4 mm (US 6) - 24 inches
4.5 mm (US 7) - 24 inches
or size to obtain gauge

Sizes 4 and 5:
4 mm (US 6) - 24 inches
4 mm (US 6) - 32 inches
4.5 mm (US 7) - 32 inches
or size to obtain gauge

Gauge in Eyelet Ladders pattern with 4mm (US6) needles: 4 inches = 18.5 stitches and 26 rows
If ordering Addi Lace Circular needles, note that the pattern recommended size may differ from the size you require to get gauge.
