Poncho Panache
from Fiddlesticks Knitting

This delightful poncho knits up fairly quickly and makes a fashionable accessory for any outfit. The garter stitch collar is knit first, I-cord edgings are added, then stitches are picked up around the bottom edge of the collar for the eyelet body of the poncho. The body is worked in the round, with plenty of plain knit rows for quick knitting. After finger blocking, the tassels and fringe are added for extra panache!

Yarn requirements:
1 skein of Fiddlesticks Knitting Country Silk yarn - a luxurious blend of 50% wool and 30% silk, with 20% nylon for strength. Approximately 800 metres / 250 grams.

Recommended for Advanced Beginners.

Recommended needle size:
4.5 mm (US 7) 24-inch and 32-inch circulars
