Here you can see the whole shawl in two different yarns. The top photo shows the shawl in Country Silk. It would look quite different in a soft pastel, for instance. The bottom photo shows the shawl in Raj Silk (discontinued yarn). Recycled sari silk substitutes could be used if they match the yardage / weight per skein of Raj Silk.

Finished size after blocking is approximately 70 inches across the top edge and 36 inches down the centre middle.
