Spice Caravan Robe

The Spice Caravan Robe evokes the fantasy of exotic locales and the rich, extravagant costumes of distant lands. Generously oversized, it will fit almost everyone, so add some spice to your wardrobe!

Only one size is provided as the generous measurements allow it to be worn by many. The soft drape of the yarn flatters both smaller and larger figures. The bottom edge circumference is 78 inches and the length is about 30 inches.

Design Details

NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting Patterns use charts.
There are detailed instructions on the garment construction, how to work the charts and special stitches, but the stitch pattern designs are all charted.

Yarn requirements:
Approximately 800 m fingering-weight yarn for each of two colours (our sample worked in a 50% wool, 30% silk, 20% nylon blend; 50 g / 160 m)

Recommended for Intermediate lace knitters.

Recommended needle size:
5 mm (US 8) 32" circular needles
4.5 mm (US 7) 32" circular needles
4.5 mm (US7) 16" circular needles
(or sizes to obtain gauge)
