Cosy Elegance (centre) is worked in two halves, each beginning with a decorative ribbed border and progressing to the graceful, curving lace panels. The two halves are grafted together with kitchener stitch (explained in the pattern).

Cosy Ruffles (right) begins with a provisional cast on and the first ruffle is worked. Then stitches are picked up and the simple windowpane lace pattern is knit for the desired length, and the second ruffle is worked.
