Twizzlers - Scarves with a Twist
from Fiddlesticks Knitting

These little moebius shoulder wraps are quick to knit and pretty to wear. Because they are knit as rectangles, they can be twisted and joined into moebius shapes as shown here, or left as scarves. Various sizes and finishing options allow you to customize your project.

Design Details

NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting Patterns use charts.
There are detailed instructions on the garment construction, how to work the charts and special stitches, but the stitch pattern designs are all charted.

Recommended for Intermediate knitters.

Finished sizes for Fit to be Tied (top left): To fit shoulders 39, 42 1/2, 46, 49 1/2, 53 inches or more depending on number of pattern repeats worked. Also refers to length of scarf excluding fringes or frills.

Finished sizes for What a Frill (lower left): To fit shoulders 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 inches or more depending on number of stitches cast on. Also refers to length of scarf excluding fringes or frills.

Yarn for each moebius or scarf
Fingering-weight yarn: Our samples knit with a 50% wool, 30% silk, 20% nylon blend,
each scarf approx. 125 g / 400 m

Needles for Fit to be Tied: 4.5 mm (US 7) straight or circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Needles for What a Frill: 4.5 mm (US 7) 24 to 32 inch circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge
