These two scarves come as a package—two patterns in one! Even better, each scarf uses only one ball of Fiddlesticks Knitting Zephyr Laceweight.
Please note that this is a revised and updated version of the original "Two Lace Scarves" pattern using Artisan laceweight merino wool, now reworked for Zephyr laceweight wool-silk.
The triangular Daisy Meadow Scarf is worked from the bottom tip to the top edge, increasing every second row to create the shape.
The rectangular Rippling Waters Scarf is worked by knitting a lace edging from which stitches are picked up to work the main body. Then it is finished by knitting another lace edging onto the live stitches of the body.
Design Details
NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting Patterns use charts.
There are detailed instructions on the garment construction, how to work the charts and special stitches, but the stitch pattern designs are all charted.
Yarn requirements and measurements:
Each design uses less than 1 ball of Fiddlesticks Knitting Zephyr Laceweight (2 oz / 630 yds).
Finished sizes can vary, but our Daisy Meadow Scarf is approximately 50 in. from tip-to-tip and 37 in. along each side edge.
Rippling Waters Scarf size is approximately 11 1/2 in. wide and 55 in. long (scarf can easily be made longer).

Addi Turbo Lace Knitting Circular Needles
These fabulous new circular needles from Addi Turbo - the long respected name in well-crafted knitting needles - offer you enhanced features for both lace and sock knitting. They have sharp tips making it easier to work fine stitches; the needles are coated to give just the right amount of 'stick' so you have better control of lace stitches; and they have smooth joins between the needles and cord.
When selecting a needle size note that while the pattern has a suggested size (see above for Recommended needle size), you may need to use a different needle size in order to get gauge. If your experience with other Fiddlesticks patterns is that you have to go up or down a needle size to match gauge, then select the appropriate size.
