The Lily of the Valley Stole is a pretty and feminine wrap, featuring traditional Estonian lace patterns. Little bobbles called "nupps," create the illusion of sweet sprays of lily of the valley.
The shawl is worked by knitting a lace edging from which stitches are picked up to knit the main rectangular body. Then it is finished by knitting another lace edging and the stitches are cast off in the Estonian style.

3 balls Fiddlesticks Knitting Exquisite (laceweight - 50% mulberry silk, 50% merino wool) each ball approx. 50 g / 500 m.
If a longer stole is desired, work extra repeats.
Finished size : 73 inches long and 28 inches wide.
Needles: 3.5 (US 4) straight or 24" circulars, or size needed to obtain gauge
